About Chastaneyka

It is my fondest wish to be a guide and help to you wherever you are in life and on your journey. My journey started as a child seeing ghosts, and having dreams and visions of things to come. I never really thought that I may have a gift to help other people; instead I went on and lived an ordinary life. . . As a teenager I was a Cadet Commander in Civil Air Patrol, A Junior Deaconate in my church and in the top 14 percent of my class.

During that time things would pop up and people would say to me “how did you know that? – Are you psychic?” Or “He just walked through the door – Do you have ESP?” Whenever they said things like that, I would always wonder – Am I? Do I? But I kept on living my life. . . I began flying little Cessnas and then won an Air Force Full Ride Scholarship to South East Missouri State University in computer science.

Life was moving right along – until the biggest transition of my life, up to that point occurred, the guy I was “promised” to, made a choice that ended our relationship and that shook me deeply. I eventually dropped out of college and traveled to North Carolina to live for a short while with my parents.

I am so glad, the Universe conspired to stop that “life” and move me into the strangely wonderful and ever changing world of who I really am.

At age 19, I began working in a little bar and grill, it was great fun and was the place I met my next teacher. . . One night this strange looking fellow came in, with feathers hanging from his ears, long hair, and strange looking jewelry. I was very drawn to him, so I went to his table and he placed a tiny stone in my hand and proceeded to call a spirit to the stone. It was amazing to me, because I felt every bit of the energy that was moving around.

A short time later, I set up an appointment with this shaman, and in that two hour session, the mysteries I had about life became acceptable and real and I knew that my life was now changed forever.

In the next weeks and months I learned and remembered so much. The guides and spirits would give me real life lessons on things like working with dead people, how to deal with possession, how to get rid of black magic, how to call back spirits to their bodies, and how to die.

The biggest gift I got directly from the man I worked with was confidence in my connection and that it was really “real.” Without this one thing, my connection to spirit would be diluted and inefficient.

With this connection I have had the great honor to work with White Buffalo Calf Woman, Mary, Jesus, St. Germain, Michael, Ureal, and hosts and hosts of other amazing named and un-named guides, angels and spirits. The most influential guide I have worked with is my bear guide Iccico.

Iccico has taught and guided me in the art of healing from an energetic position. When I first started doing readings I would talk to people about the dis –ease they had in their lives, and Iccico would push me to tell them the herbs they could take and how to take them. I would resist, because I didn’t know hardly any of the herbs she would tell me. It was amazing later when I would look them up and there they were and that they were the correct herb for the condition.

What amazed me more was when the people would come back and thank me for the help as it changed their lives. I was astonished and grateful that this gift could be used to help people and it did!

I learned the medicine that different stones had and how to channel their energy. I learned many types of ceremonies through experience and through the teachings of my guides. I vision quested and fasted. Those two years were full of astonishing and amazing events that definitely shaped me as an advisor and healer for the rest of my life.

After having my first child, new teachers and opportunities started to add more experience and wisdom to my life. . . I augmented what I was already taught in energy work with that of reiki. The angels taught me how to work with chakras and auras. I was also given rights to pour sweat lodges and became a pipe carrier.

When my son was a year old – the angels came to me and taught me how to isolate emotional, past life, karmatic, and energetic programming that would hinder growth and limit vibrations. They showed me how to pull them, and then I would see and feel the instant difference it made in my life. Over the years this technique has evolved to release the habits and behaviors associated with those beliefs to totally set a person on a new path.

Soon I started my training for Massage Therapy. This experience proved to strengthen my ability to see with-in the body and to give me more opportunity to do hands on healing work. I learned a lot and was constantly grateful for my past times and experiences as they only strengthened me through every experience.

As my son grew, I wanted to do more for him and provide an education that would allow him to be who he is, but still guide him. So I put him in a little Montessori school in Virginia. I loved the technique so much that I wanted to be a part of it myself. I began teaching and stayed with it through 10 plus years, 3 more children, and owning my own school.

It offered the opportunity to love the child in each person, and to see the characteristics of humanity we have all been born with. My first boss was also a Sufi and offered me much wisdom and understanding in our quite talks in the evenings.

Learning Montessori - her beliefs and philosophies, added so much to what I know and what I do. This time also helped me understand how we go from pure spirit, this one glowing orb of light, to the delineated chakra system.

Even as a Montessori Teacher and Mother I continued my spiritual education. There was a difference now. Instead of purely adopting each person's view or understanding I learned how to use it in a way that augmented and helped my current way of being. I learn more from the experiences I have with the people I meet on my path everyday, as it is true that everything happens for a reason, and it is a good one.

The path that is there for us, we never have to search for! All we have to do is live it. We create it every step, there is nothing we can’t create or have. There is no karma strong enough to punish us or reward us in a way to we do not choose and/or create on a daily basis. There is no magical purpose we are destined to live other than the one we choose for ourselves.
